Eleven Four was founded in the summer of 2000 by James D. Calhoun in Oakland, CA. James is a former music producer for hip-hop/rap artists and is currently a Producer/Director for Peralta TV. At Peralta TV, "Jay" created and developed a division within the station entitled PTVSports (visit www.ptvsports.com or facebook.com/ptvsports). This 'ESPN" like coverage of the Peralta Community College Sports Programs was broadcast live on Comcast East Bay 27 and 28. In the past ten years James has been involved in video/film with some extremely prominent professionals. From weddings to sports figures to major motion pictures, James has been diligently working at creating visual images that last.

The list is impressive and the body of work is growing everyday. James has had the opportunity and great fortune to work with Tupac Shakur, Michael Jordan, Dave Stewart, Michael Eric Dyson, Terry McMillian, Iyanla Vanzant, Mario Van Peeples, Tony Rock, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Randall Robinson, Nikki Giovanni, Kev Choice, Supreme Pictures, MTV Films, Sony Classic Films, Paramount Films, and a host of others.
